Blast Cleaned Steel Cleanliness

The following shows how a blast cleaning standard much improves the cleanliness and requirements demanded today.

Preparation Grades

Blast cleaning standard A to Sa 2.5. Almost white metal with very little remaining scale, no visible oxidisation or rust. This is a very commercially acceptable standard

A to Sa 2.5. Almost white metal with very little remaining scale, no visible oxidisation or rust. This is a very commercially acceptable standard

A to Sa 3 steel is entirely free of mill scale and rust
